A few weeks ago it was suggested that there was to be a Club MTB ride this Sunday led by our very own 2015 TdF rider, Dave Simms. I've manage to get the day off work, so although I've been suffering with man flu for the best part of a month, I will be out after nearly 4 weeks off anything 2 wheeled! laugh

If Dave is unable to make Sunday, then I'm happy to take a group on an adventure, aiming to spend as much time off road as possible. I know some decent routes from Ormskirk out to Bickerstaffe and through to Rainford and beyond.

I'm sure, whether led by Dave, myself or anyone else, the ride will be accessible for all riders, no matter what Group you usually ride in. So, if you fancy getting a bit dirty and having a bit of a change from the tarmac then more the merrier!

Meeting time will be as normal, 0900hrs at the shop - I'll be the one with knobblies on! cheeky

This sounds fun.  Clashes with (or as an alternative?) there is a cyclocross race at Prescot on Sunday.  MTB's welcome.  See NWCCA.  Definitely up for it If you're  planning another ride like this
