Ten of us set off but Charlie jumped onto the back of the race group at the first lights. He doesn't do the front!

Some frisky behaviour today.  Lynchy jumped away on the first climb of the day and climbing out of Brinscall Paul H did the same. When we turned left and the road climbed again he seemed to have a mechanical with a mudguardwink

Chris G managed to tie his chain in a knot around the crank arm on the climb towards Charnock Richard. Don't know how he managed it and it took 4 of the finest HMCC brains to sort it out..........eventuallycheeky

After another mechanical with Pauls mudguard we ran out of time to do Bank Top, so opted for Lees Lane instead. We did go up the Hillock to make up for it though.

DNA Dave was still looking very fresh on the run back to Ormskirk and upped the pace. Howie kept jumping off the front which meant lost of chasing. Such funlaugh

A good morning out and even better was the fact it was the first weekend for ages without any wind. (Ooh matron!)

Thanks once again for another great route and ride Steve. Your time spent planning these rides is greatly appreciated.

I'm bad and that's good. I will never be good and that's not bad. There's no one I'd rather be, than me. (Wreck-It Ralph, 2012)
