Club Criterium Championships Sunday 1st November
HMCC Criterium Club Championships 2015
Sunday 1st November @ Litherland: 12pm - 3pm
To acompany the Hill Climb Club Championships this year, we’re introducing a new day of fun and competition for all.
The first annual HMCC Criterium Club Championships will take place at Litherland on Sunday 1st November, 12pm - 3pm.
Seperate races for women and men - 3 races for everyone.
The races are open to past and present HMCC members.
Entry is £10 per rider to cover track hire and first aid.
Prizes for winners will be provided by the Bicycle Lounge.
The day will run as follows:
- Race skills and track familiarisation with Coach Colin / warm up on track
- Prolouge (1 lap of the circuit)
- 10 minute race for Men
- 10 minute race for Women
- 20 minute race for Men
- 20 minute race for Women
- Prize presentation
Bring along the family to cheer you on, cakes and volunteers welcome.

Date change 1st November
Lots of folks have expressed interest but couldn’t make it due to half-term and other holidays / work trips. We’ve re-arranged the date to be a week later, now taking palce on Sunday 1st November.

Good morning all, the HMCC Criterium Club Championships happening next Sunday 1st November 12pm-3pm at Litherland.
If you are coming and have not paid via PayPal please could you message me so I can confirm numbers. Paying on the day is fine as we’ve now covered the first-aider cost but I need to know numbers in order to plan the structure / helpers etc.
We currently don’t have any confirmed ladies. We’ll just be doing a combined race.
It’s highly likely that we will do a beginners only race before the full action beings.
Yes your all probably wondering, what if it rains? I have booked the first-aider with the ability to cancel if rain is forecast and I will make that decision 24 hours before. We had a great turn out for the hill climb, would be great to make another great event too.

Weathers good, be ready to race trackside at 12pm
The weather is looking good for tomorrow afternoon’s Club Criterium Championships 2015 as is the competition with 20 of us taking to the track.
The action begins on the track at noon 12pm.
Please arrive in time to be ready and on your bike for the first session at 12pm.
You’ll be able to walk your bike through the main entrance and just ask to be directed to the track.
On arrival (at the trackside table) you’ll be required to sign the startsheet and a number will be pinned on your jersey.
Bring a warm jacket / layers / gloves for when you are not racing and in between races. A couple of bottles (you can leave one at the sign in table) should see you though the day.
