***Subject to weather***  Andy Hardiman & Myself will take a B ride out to the transport cafe on the A59 near Ribchester.  Approx. 60 miles so should be back before 2pm kick off. Route heads out to Brinscall then Pleasington, up a few hill to the cafe. Returning via some more hills, Brindle & home.

Thanks John. Great ride. Just about enough hills and excellent weather. Pity about the result!!

60.5 miles, over 3000 feet of climbing, average speed just under 16mph and a bacon butty into the bargain.

I will upload the Garmin map as soon as work out how!

Lots of bits that we might have done before as parts of other rides but joined up in a different way.  The stretch round Pleasington and Mellor was lovely.  I'd like to say that we didn't know what was coming next but after a while we realised that it was probably another climb - I don't think that the 3,000ft of ascent/average speed stats do justice to some of the kickers that were in there - felt like much more.  A rare and welcome tale wind across Hoscar Moss tiopped off a great ride wth a nice group that rode together really well
