Fantastic few days of cycling at Bala, the best couple of days riding for me in ages, in great company too. A final update on the finances, after the extra cash collected and taking out the costs for food there was a total of £60 plus change left.

I have always given anything over to a charity related to someone at the club in previous years. When I got home today I heard about a young lad called Charlie Fearns who has had 3 relapses from Luekaemia and now his last chance is a transplant in America that will cost £140,000.

This is a bit of his story, it touched me so I have donated in my name but commented that it was on behalf of everyone at the HMCC Bala Weekend.
