HMCC Tuesday Chainey - 22.4.14
Well the weather wasnt looking great and with the Captain pulling a late shift 10 brave souls turned up at the shop - a decision was made to do one more week of the Aughton chainey route with the impending weather...
good pace from the start with some very strong wheels to ride on, stats:
3 laps - around 23 miles total
Average speed for 3 laps = 21.7
Fastest Lap (6.9 miles) = 24mph
Sprint win = Rob Shirley
The suggestion was to rotate the other way heading up cunscough (yes i had to check my left and right!!)...which took a bit of thinking for me!! It seemed to work though and is a new technique for me!!
Honorable mentions - Stefan and Rob for taking HUGE turns on the front towards the end - It was like being pulled along by a train!!!
