#2 - CX - Off road training
Wednesday 30th August
Kings Moss Plantations
approx 5-10miles riding, mixed terrain
18:15pm meet - Fir Tree Farm (WA11 8RG)
session start 18:30 (make most of light, come join us after start if you want)
May need some lights towards the end
start and finish in same spot
You're welcome to drive to start or ride over

As there was some interest and it's always better to ride with others I've decide to give the HMCC CX training session a go.
This will be the 1st one with the intention of running one a week.

The session will be:
- A chance to have a go at CX riding
- A good hour+ worth of training, to include efforts, some running and mud, possible obstacles
- a chance to do something a bit different
- train for the CX season ahead
- practice bike set up in various conditions
- Catch up with mates
- Have a beer afterwards

The venue will probably be different each week but should be based around a CX HQ (i.e. pub)

You don't need a CX bike, mountain bike is fine (although if you want to race proper you may not be allowed).

All welcome, any juniors will need adult rider with them (and to buy them a pint ;-) .

The session will be worked out between us on the night, if people want to practice sprints, running etc we can do that. I'm not a CX coach, just an enthusiastic, overweight rider!

This session will include Dans secret Beer Prize!!!!!!!!

Sessions will always take place, rain or shine - Only cancelled if it's ridiculously bad - after all CX is for all seasons.

Who's in?

Dan
