Bala Club Trip 23/24th june 2017

on Sun, 05/02/2017 - 15:06

Foel Ortho farmhouse, cost £70 per person for 2 nights accomodation.

For this you arrive Friday and get two nights accommodation, breakfast each day and a choice of great rides on Saturday & Sunday. The farmhouse is 90 minutes drive from Ormskirk so even if you can't stay over you can always come and join us for the day for a ride.

Last year we rode as one group, previous years we have had an A and a B group.  The venue is unique and worth the £70 to visit anyway. Riding in the area is brilliant. Friday & Saturday night we go to the bar in the Lake Vyrnwy Hotel.

Tuesday nights

on Tue, 11/10/2016 - 17:38

Just a reminder to everyone that the Tuesday chaineys have stopped and we now do a steady winter ride, usually around 30 miles shop to shop. The ride is suitable for anyone who is willing to join in, as we don't leave anyone behind and it's a nice, flat route.

Last week there were just 3 of us, so hopefully more will turn up if the word gets around that it is a winter ride and nothing crazy. (Lights are a must, even for the start now.)

I should be out most Tuesday's, weather & work permitting, so see you there! yes

'A' Trough Adventure

on Tue, 04/10/2016 - 21:09

Forecast is looking promising so I'm planning on taking an A Group up to the Trough on Sunday. Early start (8am) to keep loved ones happy! Pace will be typical A Group, maybe slightly brisk on the homeward leg. Fingers crossed for good weather, a good route with a few little ups and downs and lots of fun!

Shop stop in Scorton for those who need a quick refuel then onwards and upwards! Home by 2pm at the latest.
